The Bros take on a scholarly comparison of Japanese values as it pertains to tanks (for war) and trains (for war?).

Exhibit A: Tetsuko no Tabi
Wacky, zany, hilarious fun.

Exhibit B: Girls und Panzer
Girls drive tanks. That's it.

It was deduced that trains are way more entertaining.

By popular demand, we bring back our esteemed guest and colleague, Patrick M. We sat Pat down and forced him to watch a couple of premium episodes from the Summer 2012 season. Also, for your listening pleasure, we are joined by our dear friend, and owner of the TV we used to review these classic titles, Nate-dawg.

First we tackle Ebiten: Kouritsu Ebisugawa Koukou Tenmonbu.

Ass-tronomy.

And secondly, after all we (Patrick) could handle, we have Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imouto ga Iru! You know its a great show when your mother gives you the keys to your very own love-shack to sort out which bangable school mate isn't your sister.
That truck.

This time on the 'cast, the 'bros watched Irresponsible Captain Tylor. It has ships, space, action, and hilarity.
Laven and Jack take opposite opinions on how to interpret the end of the of the series.
Tylor, one of the hostages, gives the terrorist back his gun. Sums up what this show is about.

After the convention, we made our way back to Patrick's house, and recorded a little closing-thoughts session. If you think that the audio quality is bad, you're wrong. That is our homage to AM radio, and definitely not an attempt to lower the noise due to substandard equipment.

The Bros go to Kumoricon! Portland's own anime convention, except it's too good for Oregon. Held in Vancouver for the last 2 years, this year was the 10th anniversary. We took the microphone with us, and decided to record stuff.

Joining us for this special edition, our good friend Patrick came along to offer his masterful insight. Oftentimes, he also hijacked the direction of the interviews and conversation.

We're also joined by our good friend Jordan, who took a leap of faith by buying the Hentai Grab Bag.

The Bros talk about Nodame Cantible, and then get off topic with some other shows, like Infinite Ryvius.
Jack questions Laven's uncompromising taste, which devolves into a discussion about why they like the shows they like. Maybe Jack can some day be convinced that "good art" isn't death for story.

                                        An example of Good Art.

Laven and Jack go over the Spring and Summer 2012 seasons. They discuss things they liked and disliked. Laven makes his anti-everything agenda apparent, while Jack is more willing to give things a chance.

The pilot that started it all. Note how we have no direction or knowledge of the subject matter-- elitists and hipsters be warned. Basically the ramblings of two ignorant dudes who talk at the expense of credibility. Feel free to laugh with us or at us.
